Yorkshire Air Museum
This body of work is inspired by the Yorkshire Air Museum, which was formerly RAF Elvington during the second World War. Due to its close proximity to my home, I am able to visit the site regularly in order to gain inspiration from the numerous aircrafts and artefacts to be found there. Small details, such as rivets, nuts and bolts, along with the colours, textures and patterns on the body of the aircraft motivate me to create abstract interpretations of these pieces of history.
